The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet, though they could get quite hot at night even in May. The rooms looked smaller than online but were adequately sized with a large firm bed. Overall, the rooms were big and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The service was friendly and very helpful, with staff doubling as bar staff and going out of their way to assist guests. However, the service at the bar could be slow in the evenings. The location was modern and convenient, being on the boundary of Ashton-Under-Lyne and Oldham, with easy access to Manchester. However, there were some issues with communication regarding meals on the first day, causing disappointment. The dining experience, while overpriced, offered good-tasting food, such as American pancakes, and the facilities were satisfactory with room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping available.
The hotel had lovely rooms with a great atmosphere. The food was very good despite the crowded conditions. However, it lacked a mini fridge which would have been convenient.
